"Immaculately edited, these podcasts are particularly impressive for the sheer quantity of information Cohen is able to process within his allotted span of 75 minutes, without ever appearing to sound rushed. Of course, it was Mahler who once told Sibelius that “a symphony must be like the world—it must contain everything” and Cohen accordingly realizes the impossibility of drawing final conclusions, though he sets forth many intriguing possibilities."
